María Paz is a member of the Public Law Department at Ariza&Marín. She is a lawyer graduated from EAFIT University and holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from the University Paris II – Pantheon Assas. She is passionate about administrative law, especially state contractual and non-contractual liability.

During her professional experience she has been part of the administration of justice sector in the contentious-administrative jurisdiction, has represented the interests of private and public entities in contractual and non-contractual liability litigation before the ordinary jurisdiction, contentious-administrative and arbitration courts, and has taken part in the execution of road infrastructure projects under the scheme of public-private partnership (PPP).

She has professional experience in France, where she assisted the legal defense of private clients in matters of public domain, regulated sectors and actions against public power. She is still involved in academia and is a professor of administrative law at EAFIT University.
